Last night, as NYFW comes to a close, we were wowed by the creativity and preparation that went into creating Marc Jacobs' SS15 show. The set, built by Stefan Beckman, was bright, beautiful and enormous! In the middle of the pink runway sat a life-sized pink house as models dressed in military-inspired garb and identical wigs passed by. Jacobs, partnering with Beats by Dre, gave each guest a pair of headphones to listen to a vocal narrative, accompanying the music, during the show. No stranger to the over-the-top, Jacobs put on a real show this year, and we always love to see what Stefan brings to the spectacle.

“He loves The Wizard of Oz,” explained set design supremo Stefan Beckman moments before the show, “as though the house was just dropped into the middle of the Armory—like an art project. And he’s really into happy, bright, optimistic color!” (source)
