Stefan Beckman designed Gucci's much-anticipated "No Longer/Not Yet" Exhibition at the Minsheng Art Museum in Shanghai which opened over the weekend! The art exhibit was curated by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele and Love magazine editor-in-chief Katie Grand and addresses the question, "what is contemporary?," a subject that piqued Michele's interest when designing the house's Fall/Winter 2015 collection.

The exhibit features the work of seven artists from all over the world, whose paintings, photographs, and sculptures are displayed in separate rooms, each with original sountracks created by Steve Mackey and John Gosling. Additional information about each of the artists' installations can be found on Love's website here.

Of the exhibition's theme, Michele told Women's Wear Daily“I really believe the only thing we have is [the] now, this is true in fashion, but it’s also true in life...In fashion, people are very focused on the future…but I really love to talk about the present. The future is not so interesting for me because the future doesn’t exist. I am really focused on the contemporary.”

"No Longer/Not Yet" is open at the Minsheng Art Museum in Shanghai from October 17 - December 16, 2016.
