Odile Gilbert for Jean Paul Gaultier

    Share |

Odile Gilbert styled the models' hair for the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2015 Couture show!

"We're totally in a collection that is Celtic," Gilbert told Women's Wear Daily in reference to Gaultier's Breton stripes and sailor caps that appeared throughout the show. Gilbert and her team spent two weeks designing the collection's towering headpieces, known as bigouden in the Brittany region of France. While these traditional headdresses are typically made out of delicate lace, Gilbert wove human hair onto Gaultier's headpieces, putting her own haute couture spin on the French tradition.
