Hair stylist Odile Gilbert created the prettiest, laid-back version of the half-up, half-down style for the Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2016 show. After parting hair down the center, Gilbert gently twisted back two even sections of hair and secured them at the nape of the neck. Wispy, wayward strands added to the natural feel of the look and rested nicely against the collection's organic fabrics such as linen, cotton, and burlap. "It's folk," Gilbert told Harper's Bazaar of the look. "There's romance and rock 'n' roll to it." Hair sponsored by Moroccanoil.

Allure on how to create this look: "At Altuzarra, hairstylist Odile Gilbert raked a small amount of Moroccanoil Styling Cream through damp hair before blow-drying, both smoothing out the hair and giving it some grip. To create the half-up twists, she grabbed a two-to-three inch section on either side of the model's part and began twisting, adding in small slivers of hair as she directed the twist diagonally down to the nape of the neck. When both twists were complete, she tied them together with a clear elastic."
