Honey, Piergiorgio Del Moro, and Samuel Ellis Scheinman for Vogue Italia
Piergiorgio Del Moro and Samuel Ellis Scheinman cast the special digital cover story for Vogue Italia, photographed by Tyler Mitchell. Honey created nail looks for the cast made up of actor Indya Moore and models Ugbad, Aaron Philip, Alek Wek, Amy Sall, Dede Mansro, Eniola Abioro, Lineisy Montero, Mari Taylor, Paloma Elsesser, Precious Lee, and Toni Smith. Tyler Mitchell teamed up with playwright Jeremy O'Harris for the theme "Black Nonsense", inspired by the Dada movement of the early 20th century. Dadaism is the perfect method of analyzing the Black Lives Matter movement through an artistic lens because this art movement was a rebellion of classic art or better known as "anti-art". This cover story has given a voice to several black creators as Mitchell wanted to include as many photographers and writers as possible. The story asks us to look at the fashion world differently and take notice to the new wave of revolutionary black artists that will rewrite pop culture. Hair by Jawara, makeup by Raisa Flowers, and set design by Julia Wagner.
Piergiorgio Del Moro, Samuel Ellis Scheinman and Honey are part of Exposure NY's styling division. Exposure NY is a photography agency / stylist agency in New York City.
