George Cortina for Vogue Mexico x Vogue Japan
George Cortina styled Quannah Chasinghorse for Vogue Mexico and Vogue Japan's collaboration issue! Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, the 18-year-old Lakota activist from Alaska posed in a beautifully bright yellow floral Valentino gown for the cover. Her makeup, done by Fulvia Farolfi, was kept naturally radiant with an emphasis on pink blush—to show her traditional face tattoos given to her by her mom. Her long hair, styled by James Pecis, laid straight in a sleek middle part. George also styled Quannah in sharp looks by Alexander McQueen, Comme des Garçons, Hermès, and Chanel.
