George Cortina styled A$AP Rocky for the June/July issue of GQ! Known as "Pretty Flacko," A$AP lives up to this name in this cover story photographed by Inez & Vinoodh. George Cortina styled the rapper in a Vivienne Westwood kilt with a Chanel necklace worn as a belt. He paired this with a vintage Russian navy shirt and John Lobb buckle boots for a look that leans high-fashion punk. In the editorial, George mixed traditionally feminine pieces—such as layers of pearl necklaces, chokers, a chain headpiece, and floral laces—with more rugged items like vintage ripped jeans and leather belts to play with long-standing ideas of gender in men's fashion. A$AP Rocky says to GQ's Samuel Hine about his fashion, "The nails, the kilts, the pretty-boy swag, the pearls—I think it's just being comfortable. I just express myself with fashion, and what's fly is fly. I do it on some punk sh*t." Check out the rest of the interview over at GQ, where A$AP talks about how he got into fashion as a young kid, his experience in a Swedish jail, and his relationship with Rihanna.
