ODILE GILBERT: Hair Highlights from Fashion Week
Visionary hairstylist Odile Gilbert and sponsor Kerastase worked on a record ten shows for this season's New York Fashion Week: Jason Wu, Suno, ADAM, Jill Stuart, Monique Lhuillier, The Row, Thakoon, Theysken's Theory, Rodarte, and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Take a look at some of the fabulous looks below:
At Jason Wu, Odile made a sophisticated updo edgy with the addition of thin black feathers placed haphazardly throughout hair with bobby pins.
The use of colored medicinal powder - purchased at a pharmacy in France - in the hair at Thakoon really got people talking; models walked the runway with pink, blue, and green hair to compliment an equally colorful collection.
Once again, the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte provided Odile with beautiful handcrafted barrettes, which were used to pull back the models' long hair in a casual, youthful, side-swept look.
The hair at 3.1 Phillip Lim was inspired by the simple elegance of a city girl -- including pieces pinned across the back to imitate the effects of wind!

After New York Fashion Week, Odile went on to Milan, where she created this adorably irreverent braided updo for Moschino:
...and in Paris, Odile created a nouveau-nun ponytail for Hermes, a sleek side-part for Cacharel, and this gorgeous flower-strewn look for Alexis Mabille:
